The Danelec Marine DM700 ECDIS G2 Type Specific ECDIS Training course provides officers with the system knowledge required to use this ECDIS for watch-keeping in accordance with the regulations of STCW and the ISM Code. The guided tutorial, with a duration of approx. 16 hours, covers the equipment familiarisation requirements of IMO Model Course 1.27 and MCA MIN-503(M) for the functions and controls. The online type-specific ECDIS training course will provide you with knowledge of the functionality and effective use of the Danelec MarineECDIS Training. The course covers a period of 2 days (equal to 16 hours) and is conducted in accordance with Regulation I/14 of the IMO STCW 1978 Convention as amended, in recognition of the provisions in Table A-II/1-3 of the STCW Code and sections 6.3 & 6.5 of the IMO ISM Code.
